Katja Herbers has been a professional performer since she was a small girl. She is the daughter Vera Beths (violinist) and Werner Herbers (oboist). When she was a kid, Katja Herbers accompanied her mom on a tour through America in the chamber orchestra L'Archibudelli. Her mother remarried cellist Anner Bylsma, and her father got married to costume designer Leonie the Polak who introduced her to the theater.
