Rebecca Romijn was a model before becoming an actress. She is most famous for her role as "Mystique," the lead character of the first part of X-Men. Romijn also appeared in an additional Marvel film, 'The Punisher In which she played the role of Joan. Romijn started her modelling career at the age of sixteen. Since then, she has posed for major companies including Christian Dior Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret. The model spent the last decade working for fashion houses of the big leagues before quitting that field of profession to concentrate on her acting career. Romijn has had a better success on TV than Hollywood. She portrayed "Alexis Mead" in the comedy-drama "Ugly Betty" as well as the character of "Jessie Nichols" in NTSF : SD: SUV.
